A Bit About Young Island &
            the Views from the Room
The photo to the left is more what Young Island looked like on our way over from the St. Vincent airport when we arrived.  It's about 35 acres with 25 rooms spread around the island, some waterfront, some on the upper hills, but all with a view of the Carribean.
Our room is to the right, a great view from near the end of the island.  Our deck overlooked the end of the island & had an outdoor shower.  Great after snorkeling when you have sand & salt to shower off.

We would begin our snorkeling at the rocks above, go around the point below & then come back over that area & end at the beach.  It was excellent snorkeling as we saw 4 species of eel, octopus & numerous new fish life.
The night we arrived we were too tired to go to the restaurant!  They suggested a room service menu, sounded great!  They brought a menu & as whipped as we were, we were still able to each eat a broiled lobster at the little table above.  Sure beat airport food!
On the first morning, when we got up & checked out the view in the daylight, the Yankee Clipper was anchored just off our room.  This is a boat we saw two years ago in Grenada, and again it was on our first day of our cruise on the Royal Clipper.  One of the pluses of this room is the sunsets from the patio...  You didn't even have to go to Sunset Point!
